As a result of Leyton Funds ongoing growth, an exciting opportunity has presented itself for a talented Investor Relations Manager to join the business. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Investor Relations Manager will play a critical role in the company’s ongoing success, supporting an existing investor group and an expanding capital base in both South Australia and nationally.
Currently the portfolio covers over $350m of retail, industrial and office property with further acquisitions underway to expand AUM. The role will offer an exceptional opportunity for growth as the business continues to expand.
The Investor Relations Manager will be the principle point of contact between Leyton Funds and its existing investors, as well as assisting the Managing Director in raising capital for new investment.
Supported by the full executive team and Board, the Investor Relations Manager will be responsible for:
- Regular communication with investors regarding the status of existing investments
- Preparation and communication of annual reporting and forecasting for and at investor meetings
- Liaison with Leyton Funds’ external trustee relating to performance and management of existing investment trusts
- Administration of capital raising for new investments
- Creation of and participation in investor presentations
- Communication with potential investors through marketing initiatives of the business
- Research and sourcing of opportunities for new capital relationships
- Representing Leyton Funds to both capital and real estate markets in the ongoing promotion of the business
Tertiary qualified, the successful candidate will demonstrate extensive Investor Relations experience in either real estate investment or financial services. Property and funds experience is highly valued as is exposure to transactions, leasing and a sound understanding of real estate investment.
Most importantly, exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential to this role given the requirement of direct contact with existing and potential investors. The ability to multi-task and strong time management are vital attributes for this role.
