The Confluence team is looking for an iOS mobile developer to help us build for the future. You'll build and maintain the mobile platform at Atlassian, which is used to power the product apps like Trello, Jira & Confluence. You will help shape the mobile platform at Atlassian, building the foundations for our mobile apps, working with the other platform and product mobile teams.
To help our teams work together, you will be fully remote, but require you to be located in Australian or New Zealand timezones.
As an engineer within this team you will be responsible for developing and enhancing the shared editing and rendering experience used by Jira, Confluence and other Atlassian products. As a team we’re customer focussed, building experiences and picking technologies to empower our users and we have a mix of Swift + React Native in our tech stack.
Build high-performing platform code that is fast, testable, scalable, and high quality
Drive strong collaboration with other engineers, designers and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on great solutions
Contribute to code reviews and documentation, and take on complex bug fixes
Lead projects, from the technical design, implementation and launch to operation
Onboard and mentor junior engineers
4+ years experience in iOS development with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit and related Apple frameworks.
Bachelor's degree (preferably a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience).
Understanding of modern mobile software development, including testing, releasing and monitoring.
Experience building mobile applications at scale.
Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
You strive to write code that lasts for years, not months.
Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.
