The Company
We do not operate as a law firm but prefer our consultants to be legally trained.
We have been established for over 10 years and we have built a first class reputation in our field.
All of our employees and contractors have worked From Home for many years.
We have 2 divisions, one specializes in the prosecution and defense of unfair dismissal claims in the Fair Work Commission and the other assists businesses with all aspects of EBA works and general IR strategy.
The Role
Your main focus will be to assist our commercial clients in a range of IR related matters. You will manage the drafting, negotiation and approval of EBA's from start to finish. We also have a requirement to represent in some unfair and general protections claims.
You will have administrative support.
The role would be ideal for an experienced IR lawyer that wants a great work life balance.
We are looking for someone who can work form home between 2-4 days per week, with an absolute minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.
There will be a need for some client visits, maybe once a quarter.
The Ideal Candidate
You have a detailed understanding of industrial relations and the operation of Fair Work Act 2009 (cth) and have bargained, facilitated and produced many EBA's.
You must have represented in the FWC at both conciliation and Arbitration.
Ideally you to live in Melbourne and there will be a requirement to attend some initial training sessions in Melbourne.
The Package
We are offering an hourly rate of $80 - $120 commensurate with experience.
