AddressProgrammed are currently working with a large Australian agricultural organization who are seeking an Irrigation Manager to join their macadamia farm on a FULL TIME PERMANENT basis.
They focus on managing good assets with good people and in this role, you will oversee the delivery of irrigation requirements across the Fitzroy Macadamia developments in Gogango. You will also provide irrigation expertise supporting the irrigation system design & installation.
You will be reporting to the Area Manager of the Fitzroy Macadamia Operation and you will be responsible for:
- Providing irrigation expertise on the irrigation systems design and installation
- Monitoring water account balances and requirements
- Programming, managing and controlling automation systems
- Providing guidance to orchard managers on irrigation requirements
- Demonstrating precise and safe work behaviours and reinforcing policies and procedures
- Coordinating delivery of water via suppliers and infrastructure to users as required
- Maintaining effective working relationships
- Identifying the training needs of workers
