Role Overview:
We are seeking a Specialist Consultant to work within a Federal Government Department to enhance their accreditation program for service providers. The role involves implementing a customised ISO 27001 framework tailored for the service providers, complementing the Department's capabilities in ensuring a robust approach to risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide educational support and develop informational resources to assist providers in aligning with the department's Right Fit For Risk methodology.
- Evaluate provider submissions for compliance with the customised ISO 27001 requirements as per our accreditation standards.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive experience and thorough understanding of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and ISO 27001 certification.
- At least five years of experience in guiding organizations to pragmatically meet the aforementioned standards.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex technical requirements for a non-technical audience.
- Strong collaborative skills and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
