About the Position
We are looking to welcome a Specialist Domestic and Family Violence Practitioner to provide specialist advice and recommendations to colleagues and clients.
- Part time 0.8FTE (60.8h f/n) opportunity.
- Level 5 under the SCHCADS award. Salary range is $93,860 - $98,112 (pro-rata) plus super.
- Role is government funded until 31 December 2026 with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an outreach model of complex family case-management programs to kids and families.
- Assess referrals into the IFS to screen for Domestic and Family Violence.
- Participate in home visits, practice consultations, and provide coaching to other practitioners.
- Assist with client needs and decisions regarding intensive support, case management and referral pathways.

About You
- A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (allied health, psychology, social work, human services).
- Professional registration (if required) and membership of a relevant professional association (desirable).
- At least five (5) years’ working in a Domestic and Family Violence capacity.
- An understanding of contemporary issues and challenges in the field of child protection and approaches to enhancing child safety and wellbeing.
Other Requirements
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption.
