Position: IT Developer
Location: South Melbourne
Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per year based on qualifications
Remote work: Can be considered after training period if desired
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement software solutions using a variety of languages including Python, C++, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance Digital Dental Lab operations.
Utilize libraries such as NumPy, Open3D, Trimesh, Three.js, sklearn and other machine learning frameworks to create advanced applications and tools.
Demonstrate a curious mind and a knack for problem-solving, contributing to continuous improvement in lab performance.
Engage in reverse engineering of existing systems, identifying opportunities for enhancement and innovation.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop custom solutions tailored to the needs of our clients.
Qualifications:
- University diploma/degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python, C++, and their respective mathematical and 3D oriented libraries.
- Experience developing software solutions independently and collaboratively (Personal, Uni, or Professional projects)
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent mathematical understanding of geometry in space and arithmetic concepts in 3 dimensions.
- Familiarity with Blender or similar 3D modelling software.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and techniques.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Prior experience in dental or healthcare setting is advantageous but not required.
