Our Graduate Trainee Program

The Spa Electrics Graduate Trainee program is open to you, as a degree-qualified person in either an Information Technology or Software Engineering discipline. Ideally, you will also possess some experience working with Information Systems in a Manufacturing environment.

The program encompasses training and exposure to the various functions within the business. Initially, you will commence working within the Systems and Planning area of the business, gaining exposure to functions such as Software Development, IT Support and Product Development.

The Program will run over several years allowing for you to gain strong skills and experience across our Australian manufacturing operations. Excitedly, we expect this Program will support your career plans across both the management and technical areas.

Where do I start?

You will commence at Spa Electrics under the mentorship of the System and Planning Analyst. The primary responsibility will be to learn about and provide support to the business in the following;

• Level 1 support both on site and remotely;
• Coordinate with third party ITS provider on Level 2 & 3 support tasks;
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures for IT and ERP;
• Audit IT assets and User Account Configuration;
• Acquire and deploy IT assets both internally and remotely;
• Development and testing of new features in our internal Warranty Database and CRM applications;
• Research, development and deployment of integration of third-party services with internal systems; 
• Research, development and management of stakeholder (internal & external) documentation, e.g.  training manuals, technical product sheets, how to use/reference guides, etc.;
• Conduct training sessions with internal teams, as well as be the “go-to person” on a range of technical issues.

• have exceptional verbal communication skills; with the ability to build strong relationships;
• have intermediate skills in using the MS Office - Word, Advanced Excel;
• have a general understanding of Relational Databases;
• are organised and have great attention to detail.
