My client is a dynamic and innovative organisation in the Financial Services space providing cutting edge solutions to their clients. Due to continued growth they are looking for an experienced IT Portfolio Manager to join their team.
As the successful IT Portfolio Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising internal IT projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the IT portfolio management strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to prioritise IT projects based on business needs, resource availability, and strategic importance
- Manage the entire lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews to assess project status, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress and success of IT initiatives
- Proven experience (8+ years) in IT portfolio management or delivery focused roles within the Financial Services industry (MUST HAVE)
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, JIRA, MS Project)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
