Goodman Fielder is currently undergoing a business transformation, with a number of programs with a significant IT delivery component. The IT Portfolio Manager will be directly responsible for a team of project managers and business analysts focused on the successful delivery of a major IT projects in accordance with IT PMO processes and governance to scope, quality, budgetary and time targets.
About the Role
We are currently seeking an IT Portfolio Manager to join the Sydney head office team. Based onsite in Macquarie Park, NSW and reporting to the Head of IT Demand and Planning (delivery team), this role will lead a team of IT business analysts and IT project managers to deliver outcomes for the business both in Australia and for the ANZ group. The role will be responsible for the below.
- IT Portfolio Management - overall accountability for the IT portfolio/project delivery
- Collaborate with key stakeholders for the execution of IT projects
- Manage vendors to implement chosen solutions
- Comply with PMO Governance including the provision of project status reports as scheduled
- Create and manage detailed financial estimates/budgets
- Create and manage detailed schedules including resource allocation
- Deliver agreed project scope to time and financial limits while following risk management guidelines
- Guide and mentor a team of project professionals to meet governance requirements and build skills
What you need:
- Minimum of 10 years proven ability to successfully deliver large-scale projects on time and within budget as a hands-on project manager
- Sound analytical and critical thinking skills
- A proactive, ‘can do' attitude, resilient in the face of ambiguity and able to adjust to shifting priorities and rapid change.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Passion to collaborate with teams to achieve the best outcomes
- Experience with FMCG solutions would be advantageous
- Experience with SAP would be advantageous
- Excellent written, oral and presentation communication stakeholder skills
