Reporting to the General Manager - Information Technology, the IT Portfolio Managerplays a critical role in overseeing and managing various aspects of the IT department.

The responsibilities will encompass portfolio management, project management framework, audit risk and compliance, governance, procurement, budgets, finance benchmarking and maturity benchmarking, demand management, and change management, all within the IT department.

The role contributes to the strategic direction, efficiency, and effectiveness of IT initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across the organization. It is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects, managing risks & costs, and driving IT governance and compliance.

Location: South Guildford, WA

Roster: Monday - Friday, 8.5-hours

To be successful the following is required:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or COBIT are highly desirable
• Proven track record of hands-on experience in IT portfolio management, project management, IT governance, IT audit risk and compliance, IT procurement, and IT finance management
• Strong grasp of IT frameworks, standards, and best practices, coupled with an excellent understanding of project management principles
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to effectively address complex challenges
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a capability of translating IT concepts into business-friendly language
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, adept at team management and fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams
• Keen business/financial acumen with a strong customer-centric approach, capable of bridging the gap between IT and business needs
• Pragmatic and practical approach to problem-solving, focused on achieving tangible results
• Well-established network of resources, vendors, and experts in the IT/Digital field to tap into for information, advice, and services while staying up-to-date with key industry developments
• Prior experience contributing to and promoting a robust safety and performance culture within an organisation
