Who is Bold-ICT?
Bold-ICT is a young and fast-growing Managed Services Provider (MSP), based in regional Victoria. We deploy and manage the latest technology solutions to improve productivity for businesses in the Bendigo, Ballarat and Geelong regions.
We provide a range of professional IT services, based on the three pillars of Support, Security and Strategy. Services we offer include Managed Services Agreements, IT Support, IT security solutions, IT strategy development, system deployment and maintenance, network administration, and cloud migration and management.
Bold-ICT's sister business Bold Media Group also supplies, installs, and services high quality telecommunications services, as well as office technology, such as photocopiers, printers and scanning solutions, digital marketing signage and professional on-hold messages.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a skilled IT Professional to be based at our Geelong office. Your daily activities may include:
- Providing IT support to a broad range of clients, including on-site and remotely across the Bendigo, Ballarat and Geelong regions
- Designing and implementing customer solutions involving:
- Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Windows Servers and PCs
- Microsoft server technologies – Exchange, SQL, SharePoint
- Hyper-V
- Switches, routers and firewalls
- Wi-Fi networks
- Remote access solutions – VPN, Remote Desktop Services, Citrix
- Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions
- Communication with customers in person, by phone and by email to keep them informed of incident progress
- Maintenance of system documentation for customers and internal use

What do we need from you?
- Minimum of 2 years working in a similar role (MSP preferred, but not essential)
- Excellent communications and people skills
- Sound technical troubleshooting methodology
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Commitment to high quality and professional customer service
- Relevant industry or tertiary qualifications (preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge, including proficiency in each of the following:
- Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint Online
- Microsoft Azure
- Windows, Windows Server and OSX operating systems
- Active Directory
- PC hardware troubleshooting
- Network switching and routing, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and firewalls
- Wi-Fi
- A current valid driver’s licence is essential
- National Police and Working with Children checks will be carried out prior to the position being offered
