  • Newly created role, providing project design, consultation, engagement and project management services across the Information Services branch
  • 35 hour week, embracing a 19 day month with a rostered day off!
  • $98,261 to $114,195 plus 11% superannuation
THE OPPORTUNITY
The IS Project Delivery Partner is responsible for the effective management and delivery of projects across the Information Services branch, including Information Technology, Geographic Information Services (GIS) and Records Management.
The IS Project Delivery Partner will work closely with Council’s leadership teams to support them in achieving their business objectives. The role will be responsible for providing high quality project management and ICT consultancy services to management and enable continuous improvement in operational performance through the implementation of Council’s digital strategy.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the planning and delivery of projects
  • Monitor identified project budget and provide timely and accurate budget reports and reviews to the relevant Client and Manager as required
  • Build effective partnerships with key stakeholders and clients, including senior management
  • Provide professional, business focused ICT service to the organisation
  • Analyse and identify issues and trends across the organisation and work with the leadership team to develop solutions and strategies for improvement
  • Assist the Chief Information Officer in providing input into strategic plans and documents
ABOUT YOU
You are innovative, ambitious, and passionate about information technology and delivering excellent customer service. You have demonstrated knowledge and experience managing ICT projects in a large organisation.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
  • Bachelor in Information Technology or related discipline; or relevant qualifications with significant relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in ICT project management and project team leadership.
  • Highly developed communication, leadership and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively manage a variety of stakeholders.
  • Customer focused with the ability to understand the business needs, objectives, and constraints of clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels within the business.
