Responsibilities:
- Work "hands on" through the end-end project lifecycle deliverables including Concept, Feasibility, Design & Planning, Build/Implementation, testing, Change and Finalisation
- Manage the planning and delivery of projects.
- Work closely with the Head of IT applications
- Develop and implement project management plans to ensure the success of projects.
- Managing Change and Project Governance
- Regularly communicate with key stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are met.
- Manage teams and workshops to ensure program business objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
- Manage vendors on certain projects
- Monitor progress of the projects including risks, issues, dependencies and benefits.
- Complete mandatory project documentation and fulfil record and reporting requirements for the projects.
- Minimum of 8 years project management experience
- Hands on Project Management experience with either SAP, Document Management Systems or HR, Employee Self Service Systems and Platforms will be highly looked upon
Experience leading and managing the delivery of projects - Experienced in managing the transition of application services
- Track record of ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget, with the project scope controlled
- Strong vendor management experience (outsourced services and IT service providers)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and reporting skills
- Experience with ServiceNow advantageous
- Advanced verbal communication, documentation and presentation skills
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of the SDLC with good understanding of application development, system integration, application migration as well as business analysis methodologies.
