The IT Project Manager & Senior Business Analyst is dedicated to orchestrating the seamless delivery of projects across JD Sports Australia & New Zealand, precisely tailored to meet the evolving needs of our growing business.
The IT Project Manager & Senior Business Analyst will spearhead the process of capturing project goals, objectives, and requirements from various stakeholders and will collaborate closely with our vendors to ensure the successful execution of these projects. The IT Project Manager & Senior Business Analyst will oversee every aspect of project delivery, from thorough testing to comprehensive documentation, all with the aim of minimising errors and the need for rework.
As the IT Project Manager & Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Collaborating with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) to craft a comprehensive program of work for the IT department, aligning closely with organisational goals
- Establish and diligently manage budgets to facilitate the successful delivery of the program and associated projects, ensuring optimal resource allocation
- Engage with stakeholders across the business to ascertain clear project requirements and objectives, facilitating the development of Business, Functional, and, where necessary, Technical Specifications
- Partner closely with business units to document Test Plans, conduct thorough testing procedures, and obtain sign-off for seamless delivery into production environments
- Work in partnership with the CIO and vendor partners to ensure the creation and upkeep of all necessary project compliance documentation, adhering to regulatory standards and organisational protocols
- Coordinate with the IT Team to orchestrate the seamless implementation of changes into product systems, fostering collaboration and ensuring the successful realisation of project goals

- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology and/or Business Degree in Commerce
- Minimum 5+ years' experience working in Retail or FMCG
- Previous experience working for a fashion and/or footwear retailer is preferable
- Minimum 5+ years' experience successfully managing programs and projects in mid to large size organisations
