This role sits within a large government organisation based in Geelong. Due to ongoing security initiatives, they require a Cybersecurity Analyst to assist with security policies, compliance, cyber threats to ensure that their systems remain secure and available.
Your new role
As a Security Analyst, you’ll be focusing on incidents and proactively help to prevent cyber threats.
What you'll need to succeed
Understanding of security vulnerabilities, attacker exploit techniques, and methods for their remediation
Ability to monitor IT systems to identify threats
- Experience working in Threat Hunting, Security Operations, Incident Response or Threat Intelligence
Understanding of best practices in cloud security, network security, security operations, systems security, policy, and incident response
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
