It Security Officer

Rubix Solutions, in partnership with a leading defence company that provides services and solutions in the defence, intelligence, civil, and health markets internationally, is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Security Officer. This role is based in Melbourne and requires on-site presence.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and audit ICT equipment and infrastructure, including network administration, server room management, and desktop systems.
• Oversee access management to ICT systems.
• Handle certification and accreditation of ICT systems (excluding security systems).
• Control and manage transferrable media.
• Develop and maintain ICT security documentation and procedures.
• Conduct training for classified and corporate systems.
• Provide ICT security advice based on the government IT Security Manual (ITSM).
• Perform physical security tasks, such as supervising contractors.

Qualifications and Experience:
The following backgrounds would provide useful experience for the role:

• System Administrator
• Network Administrator
• Cyber Security Specialist
• ICT Facilities Administration

Security Clearance:

• The role requires a government security clearance at the PV level, which will be sponsored for the successful candidate.
• Having an existing NV2 clearance at a lower level is mandatory.
