We have a newly created opportunity for an IT Security Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting our IT team's mission to ensure the robust security of our systems, applications, and processes. We are looking for a proactive individual who can contribute to the security aspect as well as assist with day-to-day IT responsibilities, gaining a comprehensive understanding of our organisational structure and practices.
How you will spend your time:
- Design, implement, and manage IT infrastructure systems to support business operations
- Collaborate with different business stakeholders to identify and prioritise infrastructure requirements and implement solutions aligning with SafetyCulture's strategic objectives
- Collaborate with HR, Legal and Security team members to improve automation efficiency, security posture, and vulnerability management
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards and cybersecurity frameworks (ISO27001, NIST, SOC2)
- Collaborate with security teams to coordinate SafetyCulture Standard Identity and access management policies
- Manage security and access controls, including system-level and user-level permissions, to ensure data protection and compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, networks, and other enterprise-level applications to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues and coordinate with other technical teams as necessary to resolve incidents and maintain system uptime
- Evaluate, design and document new technologies, hardware, and software to assess their appropriateness and usability for SafetyCulture's infrastructure environment
- Monitor network traffic and logs for suspicious activities and proactively respond to protect SafetyCulture assets
- Knowledge of Okta, Mac OS and Google Workspace experience is essential
- Knowledge of Apple MDM (Kandji) and Intune endpoint protection (CrowdStrike) is highly desired
- Solid knowledge of IAM concepts, including Federation and MFA and life-cycle management
- Knowledge of troubleshooting Endpoint protections and performing basic SaaS management and administration
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex systems in simple terms
