It Service Delivery Manager

Radiology SA (RSA) is a long-standing, privately owned, Adelaide-based radiology practice, owned and operated by doctors for the medical community. With a long history in independent private radiology and public hospital contracts, the Practice currently has a significant footprint in the Adelaide metropolitan area, with both outpatient clinics and clinics within some of Adelaide’s busiest Private Hospitals,  as well as supplying on-site radiology reporting services to Lyell McEwin, Port Pirie, Cairns and Darwin hospitals.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our IT team as our IT Service Delivery Manager. This role will report to the Head of IT and be responsible for overall coordination and management of all aspects of IT Support to ensure service quality to end-users is maintained at a high level. This role will be a mix between providing hands on support, providing leadership to our IT Service Desk team, and driving the IT customer experience with our core stakeholders.

The role will see you responsible for:

• Managing daily operations, including rostering and leave for IT Service Desk team to meet service requirements.
• Coaching and mentoring team members, ensuring performance meets expectations.
• Building relationships within operational workgroups to prioritise service needs.
• Upholding RSA Values and driving cultural alignment within the team.
• Establishing and implementing service level agreements, and monitor and report on IT support performance.
• Managing staff and workload allocation, and providing hands on support as required for seamless IT service.
• Implementing quality systems and procedures for effective IT support.
• Participating in a rotating on-call roster for after-hours support.
• Ensuring provision of necessary IT training and education services to end users.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to contribute to the company's overall growth and success. You will also bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Information Technology
• A minimum 5 years relevant experience in an IT support management position in a professional services environment.
• Ability to communicate and manage relationships with internal and external customers, service providers and contractors.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices including incident, configuration and change management.
• Expertise in developing procedures, processes and maintaining knowledge base documentation and asset management registers.
• Previous experience or knowledge within the healthcare industry would be advantageous but not essential.
