IT Service Desk Support Technician

Melbourne Grammar School is seeking a IT Service Desk Support Technician to join the dedicated IT Department at the School, in a role that offers variety and interesting technical challenges. Located predominantly at the South Yarra campus, this role works as part of a nimble team of Service Desk professionals who take pride in the high-quality service and timely advice they provide students, parents and staff of the School.

This is a full-time ongoing position.

You will:

• Possess excellent IT knowledge and skills.
• Have a strong background in customer focused environment.
• Be able to adapt to the changing technologies of the School, coupled with excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Have sound knowledge of Audio-Visual Technologies.
• Have excellent knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems and applications, mobile/tablet devices and network topologies.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with a range of customers, including parents, students, staff and suppliers.

About you

• Strong background in customer focused environment.
• Possess excellent IT knowledge and skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems and applications, mobile/tablet devices and network topologies.
• Possess good time management skills, an ability to prioritise and multi-task.
