The Opportunity:

Our Regional IT Services division is currently seeking an IT Service Desk Technician to be located at our modern office in Seven Hills. This position reports directly to the IT Services APAC Manager, and its primary objective is to deliver efficient support and technical solutions for IT Service Desk requests. Our office is conveniently situated within walking distance of t-way bus stops and is just a 5-minute drive from Winston Hills Shopping Center.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing IT service requests, incident management, problem management, event management, outage escalations and IT troubleshooting.
  • Providing technical support for hardware, software, and network related issues to employees and customers.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software systems.
  • Responding to incoming support requests via phone, email, and helpdesk ticketing system in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other standard software applications.
  • Monitoring assigned queues, voicemail, web sites and other incoming communication methods.
  • Maintaining knowledge base/solutions repositories and ensuring new/updated processes, procedures, work instructions and knowledge are incorporated in a timely fashion.
  • Collaborating with other IT teams regionally and globally to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Documenting support cases and maintain accurate records of all customer interactions.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

  • You have bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related preferred.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and written.
  • 3 years' experience from supporting standard software, hardware, printers, business support, systems etc.
  • 3 years' experience of ITSM and ITIL-based Service Desk systems
  • Project management experience (desirable)
  • Experience working with external service providers.
