About the Role-
We are looking for the next valued member of our IT Technician Team. This will be a full-time position based at our Cardiff Office.
With no two days the same, duties may include
- Remote helpdesk
- Providing onsite support to our clients
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely support to clients
- Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor system performance and security to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with other teams to implement IT solutions that meet business needs
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or enhancements
Requirements –
Essential:
- Unrestricted driver's license
- Keen eye for detail and process oriented
- Understanding of network security including general cyber security principles
- Willing to undertake relevant compliance checks including police check
- A great sense of humor with a willingness to provide outstanding customer support
- The ability to work in a high pressure environment
Desirable:
- Industry experience, preferably in an MSP environment,
- Certificate IV in Information Technology, networking qualifications or demonstrated experience
- Remote help desk experience
- An ability to troubleshoot problems independently highly desirable
- Experience providing on-site support
- Microsoft 365 products and solutions
- Fault diagnostic skills
- Ability to troubleshoot complex networks
- Experience with AD environments
- Experience using ConnectWise
- Ability to manage workload in line with company priorities
