The opportunity:

Based at our Melbourne Head office in Docklands and reporting into the IT Vendor Manager, the position supports the management of key Technology vendors, including the ongoing governance and relationships with vendors. This will also include reporting on vendor performance within EBOS Group as well as proactively identifying opportunities for realising greater value or savings from our vendor relationships.

What you will do:

• Support the management of relationships with strategic third-party partners and other vendors as per the EBOS Vendor Management framework, including: - Establish & manage on-going third-party governance & service management forums with vendors, including weekly operational meetings & quarterly service reviews.
• Develop, implement and lead the sourcing plans for strategic IT Contracts, establish third party service arrangements, and effectively manage commercial and legal aspects of the contracts with third party vendors to ensure successful service delivery.
• Apply specialist skills and lead the provision of services through effective Vendor Management for strategic IT Contracts and manage service delivery risks for the department.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives through collaboration and manage commercial arrangements with vendors in accordance with relevant guidelines and hold them accountable.
• Provide strategic advice to the leadership team on specialist areas of outsourced services including contracts, service levels, ongoing contract management, market insight and pricing
• Conduct strategically focused vendor and contract management, analysis, planning and reporting

What we are looking for:

• 3-5 years’ experience in vendor/commercial management including experience negotiating and managing low-medium value contacts. 
• A relevant tertiary qualification.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Power BI
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Exceptional analytical, statistical, quantitative, and deduction skills
• Must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organisational skills
• Understanding of business processes and basic corporate finance, management and accounting principles
