“We're looking for a skilled Java specialist who would like to help develop our latest large scale CMS project for Sky OTT International. Working in an Agile environment, this role will suit an experienced Java developer who wants to broaden their skillset in an international multi-lingual CMS application.” - Delivery Manager
What you'll do:
Deliver excellent quality software using Agile techniques- Assist in developing application deployment, monitoring and automated control artifacts
- Strive for continuous improvement – being able to improve existing practices and techniques from within the team with enthusiasm
- Assist in the development of the CMS application using Java and Spring
- Unit, functional and performance test code for robustness including edge cases, usability and general reliability
- Assist in the maintenance and support of the AWS infrastructure, PostgreSQL Database and Object Caching layers
- Actively help the team improve our automated test systems
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience creating quality Java based applications- Experience with live high-volume websites
- Proficiency in at least one Continuous Integration tool (ideally Jenkins)
- Experience in automated testing frameworks
- The ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services such as AWS
- Strong experience in SQL and Postgres
- Extensive experience with Agile Principles
- Comfort with Pair Programming as well as with working independently

The Office:
Our Osterley campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. There’s also plenty of parking, bike shelters and showers.
On campus you’ll find six subsidised restaurants and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon.
