JDS Tiling and Stone is a New South Wales company based in the Northern Rivers Region of the state. The company specializes in wall and floor tiling for medium and large-scale renovation and new build projects across Queensland and New South Wales. Projects undertaken range from short term to long term projects where the employee may be required to move away from home for the duration of the work. For example, currently the company is undertaking a project in the Whitsunday Region, Queensland and it is expected that this is where the successful applicant will be based. Depending on the location of work projects employees will be offered employment of three weeks on, one week off.
JDS Tiling and Stone is seeking applications from fully qualified and experienced tradespeople to fill the current vacancies. At least 2 year’s full time work experience is required.
Duties include measuring and careful preparation of work surfaces, laying of tiles in position according to plans, skillful use of tile-cutting tools to effect required shapes, clean edges and borders around any fixtures, grouting, waterproofing, ability to work with all tile types (terrazzo, porcelain, ceramic, granite etc.)
The positions on offer are full-time, 38 hours per week with a salary of $89,000.00 per annum.
