This role involves engagement with biotech, academic, and pharmaceutical laboratories, contributing to a collective effort to advance the field of science.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop growth plans for the territory and establish partnerships with relevant industry groups.
- Foster relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Expand existing accounts and pinpoint new business opportunities within the WA and SA territories.
- Provide reports on market trends and financial forecasting, and collaborate closely with the team to establish budgets.
- Engage with clients in person to comprehend their needs and offer solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (BSc)
- Proven capability to comprehend and implement sales concepts and practices
- Demonstrated experience in a comparable role within the life sciences industry
- Practical sales experience with analytical instrumentation (capital equipment) is preferred but not essential
- Strong organizational and multidisciplinary skills
- Positive attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
