As the business evolves, we’re looking for a new designer to form part of our growing team.
The opportunity.
Work from home, contract/freelance 2 to 3 days per week.
The designer will be responsible for creating original designs under the direction of our Creative Director with the perimeters of new collection concepts, designing new items and packaging, overseeing production and the organisation of design samples.
About you, you are a creative at heart with incredible attention to detail, a self- starter who loves collaborating with a talented team. Technically, you have experience with kids jewellery design.
Role Description
This is a contract role for a Jewellery Designer. As a Jewellery Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating our jewellery and accessory collections. Your day-to-day tasks will involve conceptualizing designs, sketching ideas, selecting materials, and bringing your designs to life. This is a remote role, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere.
Qualifications
- Creative flair and a passion for jewellery design and fashion
- Proficiency in design software such as CAD and InDesign
- Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing techniques and materials
- Ability to stay updated with industry trends and incorporate them into your designs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the team
Previous experience in kids jewellery design or a related field is preferred. A portfolio or samples of your previous work will be highly regarded.
