Duties & Tasks:
Your day-to-day will be anything but ordinary and often different one week to the next. Led by our Job Ops Manager and Leading Hand, you’ll be handling a variety of tasks, including:
- Carpentry (primarily second fix, some first fix)
- General home maintenance (windows, doors, walls, skirting, architrave, ceilings, cornice, deck/pergola repairs, fascia/eaves repairs, and more)
- Bathroom, Kitchen, Laundry upgrades (demo work, wall relining, flushing, tiling, cabinetry/benchtop installation, basic plumbing like tapware installation)
- Gyprocking (framing, sheeting, flushing)
- General building and maintenance work
- Roof sheeting & gutters
- Plastering, painting, rendering
- Paving
- Fencing (building or repairing fences and retaining walls, pool fencing/compliance, etc)
- Flat pack assembly
Requirements & Qualifications:
Expertise in a building trade, but qualifications are not necessary
Experience with residential and commercial building renovation works /maintenance
Preferably own your tools, though it's not essential
Reliable transport that can carry tools and materials
Current driver's license, police check, and White Card
Willingness to travel to where the work is
