Missing Spoon is a thriving multi-store neighbourhood café and restaurant with Korean and Japanese culinary influences. We pride ourselves on sourcing the freshest seasonal produce and collaborating with top-tier suppliers to craft vibrant, flavourful dishes with a unique twist.
Position Details:
- Full-time and part-time positions available

- A probation period of 4 weeks will be applied for training purposes

Responsibilities:
- Setting up work stations and operating kitchen equipment
- Measuring and weighing ingredients
- Following recipes and set menus
- Adhering to kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean workspace at all times
- Monitoring stock levels
- Keeping up with cooking techniques and methods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
Requirements:
- Experience with Japanese hot food cuisine
- Cooking, deep frying various types of chicken
- Familiarity with teriyaki sauces and other Japanese sauces
- Prepping meat, vegetables, sauces, other ingredients
