ITAL FURNITURE is a family run business which has been established for over 35 years. Primarily, our work comes through word of mouth from Architects and Builders, with the main part of our work being residential fit outs. Our Director has 30 years of experience in the joinery industry and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his team.
Our joinery work has been featured in recent glossy magazines such as Belle Australia, Australian House and Garden, Australian Vogue Living and a book by a well-known designer to name a few.
We work on the job from start to completion of installation as we do a lot of the work in-house.

About the Role
We are currently seeking a qualified tradesman or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice for immediate start to join our small joinery workshop on a full-time basis to work on high quality architectural joinery for upmarket residential houses and commercial work.
Your daily duties would include but not be limited to:
- Operation of tools, plant and equipment relevant to the manufacture of detailed joinery items for high end fitout projects
- Apply trade skills and experience to manufacture detailed joinery items and architectural elements for high end fitout projects
- Apply trade skills to install and commission detailed joinery items
About You
As an integral part of the team, you'll bring your strong work ethic along with previous experience in a similar role:
You'll also have/be:
- Full Australian working rights
- Qualified Cabinet Maker/Joiner - preferably Sydney based
- The confidence to work autonomously, but also be an enthusiastic team member
- Reliable, punctual and well presented at all times
- Experience in detailed custom joinery - not mass produced lines
- Ability to read plans and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
- Are enthusiastic, motivated and friendly
- Drivers licence and own car preferred
- Have own hand tools.
- On-site experience preferred
- OH&S general induction/white card
