We have collaborated with clients to provide exceptional value in projects of all sizes and complexity and have successfully delivered large-scale projects to the Health, Defence, Accommodation, Education, Commercial, Industrial, aged care, hospitality, clubs, and government infrastructure sectors.
We are currently recruiting a skilled Cabinet Maker for a permanent and full-time position.
The Key Responsibilities include:
- Interpreting and following furniture drawings, inspections, project plans, and work orders to ensure accurate production;
- Selecting and measuring required materials and parts, ensuring quality, suitability, and inspections;
- Sanding, finishing, and polishing completed pieces to a high standard;
- Install hardware and other functional components as required;
- Fabricating and repairing furniture and fitting and assembling prepared parts to make furniture;
- Making ready the components of furniture to install, assemble, and fit;
- Operating machinery, hand tools, and power tools including panel saws, edge banders, nail guns, and routers;
- Performing general and detailed repairs on all types of furniture pieces;
- Demonstrating good knowledge of different glues, joints, and techniques;
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
· Certificate III in Cabinet Making PLUS 2 years experience as a Cabinet Maker.
OR
· 3 years of cabinet-making experience.
Desirable Skills:
- Proficiency in using various glues, joints, and repair techniques;
- Ability to perform pickups and deliveries as required;
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
