Jordan Plumbing is a leading plumbing contractor in South Australia and the Northern Territory. We are currently seeking applicants who are motivated, eager to learn and willing to undertake a 12 month traineeship role within our administration team in our Adelaide office.
The 12 month traineeship will be completed through TAPS (Trainee & Apprentice Placement Service) and hosted by Jordan Plumbing. Upon completion of the traineeship, the trainee will be provided the opportunity to further their skills within the Jordan Plumbing administration team.
Position
The role of the Business Administration trainee is to manage the day to day administration tasks of the Adelaide office and provide support to the accounts admin team.
Tasks and Duties
- Providing support to the administration team
- Processing/matching purchase orders and invoices
- Project planning & compliance
- Processing trade payroll
- Taking/directing phone calls and messages
- Liaising with tradespeople, suppliers and customers
- Entering sales invoices
- Schedule meetings and appointments
Experience and skills
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a high attention to detail
- Have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook
- Have the ability to work with deadlines and competing demands
- Be able to work both independently and as a team
- Have good problem solving and decision-making skills
To become a TAPS Trainee, you need to:
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Hold a current drivers license and reliable vehicle
- Be committed to a 12 month training contract to achieve Cert III in Business BSB30120
