About the Role

This role is responsible for the delivery of Jump Rope for Heart to a group of primary schools across Australia. Coaching teachers to get their school community to achieve participation, fundraising and skipping objectives, you will also work closely with a vibrant, fun, energetic and lively team. Acting as an ambassador for the Heart Foundation and encouraging and promoting active living.

The role will require you to work across the following key areas:    

  • Promote and market the program to schools to meet the acquisition targets for your managed regions.
  • Develop strategies to meet fundraising targets set including face-to-face delivery, support, and proactive coaching of priority schools.
  • Manage communications with schools to ensure your portfolio of schools have the best possible experience.
  • Monitor registration and fundraising plans by segment and term to optimise activities as required.
  • Ensure all records are maintained within the CRM database.
  • Keep up to date of the needs of teachers and parents in your regions.

Let’s talk about you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated sales or fundraising experience.
  • Confident and engaging presentation and communication skills – including presenting to children under 12.
  • Proven experience engaging school age children, and proven experience leading, training or coaching a physical activity.
  • Proficient digital skills with the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including community engagement.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to prioritise work with competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication and time management skills.
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable)

    In addition, you will also

  • Meet the requirements of State 'Working with Children Check' legislation.
  • Have a current Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Be flexible to travel intra and interstate.
