Junior Baker Assistant

We are currently seeking a Junior Bakers Assistant or apprentice to join our team.

We have a position available for a Junior bakers assistant with possible view to apprenticeship, the position will involve assisting with cake and biscuit baking, cream bun and donut decorating, along with general dough and pastry work. The successful applicant will need to have an understanding of OH&S and cleanliness. The hours can be flexible and there is no night work, day and afternoon only. 

Working within a team environment, you will receive on-going training and development, and the opportunity to work as part of a team that is both fun, busy and a supportive environment and a apprenticeship is also an option.

Weekend and public holiday work will be required.

Your key roles and responsibilities will include:

• Producing great tasting breads, pastries and sweets
• Working with other Bakers to ensure a high standard of the product quality and range is achieved
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure product is delivered on time to meet customer demands
• Achieving a high standard of cleanliness
• Maintain a high level of safety
• Working with other team members and foster good working relationships
