As a Junior Bid Writer for our company, you will play a vital role in supporting the bid management team in developing compelling proposals to secure new business opportunities. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong writing skills and a keen eye for detail to contribute to our company's growth and success in the competitive marketplace. Full training will be offered.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for-
- Assist in the preparation of bids, tenders, and proposals in response to client requirements, ensuring compliance with specifications and deadlines,
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive content for bid documents, including executive summaries, technical responses, and pricing schedules
- Conduct research to gather information on client needs, industry trends, competitor analysis, and best practices to enhance the quality and relevance of bid submissions
- Organize and maintain bid-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and adherence to company standards
- Work closely with subject matter experts, sales teams, and other stakeholders to gather input and incorporate feedback into bid responses
- Assist in coordinating bid activities, including scheduling meetings, tracking deadlines, and facilitating communication between internal teams
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance writing skills, industry knowledge, and bid management capabilities
- Contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements to streamline bid development processes and increase efficiency
