Overview:
This role involves crafting compelling proposals, RFIs and bids to secure clients to assist with existing and new business opportunities. The position offers comprehensive training through a bid consultant plus full support of the CEO and owner. The role will suit a self-starter who is passionate about making a career in bid writing and looking to join a privately owned and dynamic business.
  
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Drafting tenders and bids in commercial cleaning and property maintenance, which involves understanding response criteria, gathering inputs from stakeholders, and helping to assemble non-technical sections of proposals.
  • Customising information to create compelling content tailored to meet specific bid requirements and ensure full compliance with client specifications.
  • Taking charge of the bid process, overseeing stakeholder expectations, and actively seeking opportunities for enhancement.
  • Creating supporting visuals/graphics and promotional materials while managing general marketing resources.
  • Coordinating and monitoring tender opportunities for distribution among the leadership team.
  • Supporting marketing efforts, including online media like LinkedIn content and website updates.
  • Contributing to improving templates and materials to maintain a top-notch bid library.

Your Skills and Experience:We seek a self-starter looking for a career in bids and proposals! You will be passionate about writing and will enjoy creating compelling solutions to assist in winning work.

Key attributes and background will include:

  • Ideally tertiary qualifications with approximately 1-3 years’ experience in writing proposals, tenders, responding to documents or complex reports with ideally an appreciation of the property/facilities services industry.
  • You will be looking to learn and grow within the business and while mentorship is provided the ability to work autonomously, and problem solve will be required.
  • Strong written communication skills with an ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities to meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and formatting.
  • A collaborative mindset to work effectively with various teams and subject matter experts.
  • Strategic thinking to identify key differentiators and develop winning proposal strategies.
