Junior Bookkeeper

Archie Rose Distilling Co. was founded in Rosebery, Sydney in 2014 with an aim to re-ignite Australia’s rich history in distilling, driven by our four values of innovation, quality, authenticity and education. Now proudly Australia’s most highly awarded distillery we produce a diverse range of whiskies, gins, vodkas and rums, as well as one-off collaborations and limited releases.

Our rapidly growing business is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. To be successful in this role, the applicant will be a self-motivated professional with a strong attention to detail. We are looking for a team player who possesses the following:

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Performing all bookkeeping functions for the business in Xero, including but not limited to:
  • Bank and credit card reconciliation (AUD and foreign currencies).
  • Managing and reporting on weekly accounts receivable, including chasing up outstanding invoices, raising event invoices, credit notes and other AR related queries.
  • Review, entry, and payment of staff credit card transactions into Xero.
  • Review and reconciliation of merchant services transactions and fees.
  • Assist with the Accounts Payable functions.
  • Admin duties: filing and scanning.
• Managing supplier/customer account data and credit information.
• Supporting the Sales and Event teams in the invoicing and relocation of promotional stock.
