About the position
This position will provide a junior lawyer with significant, varied, and challenging legal experience to get you on your way in your chosen profession.
The position will provide the mentoring and direction your experience requires from the Solicitor Director and Senior Associate. You will work on your own files under relevant supervision and have direct contact with the clients you are working for.
Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is available now.
The successful candidate
The right candidate may have general practice experience and will be well-regarded. Preference will be given to a candidate who has some experience as well as knowledge and experience across several of the areas above, particularly commercial, litigation and employment. Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills are essential, as the busy nature of the position mandates
Prior experience is highly desirable, however, candidates who have relatively recently been admitted but have exceptional talents in the other areas listed above will be considered.
You must hold a current practising certificate to apply for this position or be entitled to immediately obtain one. A driver licence is also a core requirement.
