Reporting to the Head of Production and collaborating closely with the in-house advertising team, your role will involve sourcing, editing and proofreading copy for catalogues, press, magazines, websites and digital advertising. You will ensure that all content meets the agreed brief and complies with GP Advertising's quality standards.This role will also require you to work afternoon/evening hours across 4 days, Tuesday - Friday with a 2pm start to 12am finish.Responsibilities include;
- Meeting deadlines in line with the production schedule
- Liaising with both internal staff, business units and external stakeholders
- Ensuring all advertising produced is compliant with consumer laws
- Maintaining and updating files as required
- Other ad hoc duties to assist with the efficient running of GP Advertising
You will have a passion for writing, coupled with the ability to transform creative ideas into captivating copy that draws customers into reading your pieces.You will also have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a deadline driven environment
- Capable of working both autonomously and in a team environment
- Proficient with the use of Outlook, Excel and Word
