At the heart of what we do is being there for those our communities rely on.Predictive Analytics and Pricing Analyst will support the delivery of Guild's company strategy through customer behaviour Analytics and in turn insurance pricing, to drive profitable growth and targeted risk selection and portfolio management.There are two core components to this role, they are:Customer Analytics
- Create a monitoring framework that will allow monitoring of the digital strategy, from consideration of Guild Insurance to a purchasing customer.
- Propensity modelling of both retention of existing business and conversion of new business
- Propose advanced analytics solutions for our internal business partners.
- Work with external data to help drive customer growth.
- Utilise statistical modelling techniques to generate portfolio claim costs by rating factor as in input into sustainable pricing.
- Determine target loss ratios and the development and maintenance of large account pricing tools.
- Assist in the technical review of strategic (book) pricing models for key products.
- Provide input to costing planned product development initiatives.
- Possess a strong background in data analytics, customer Analytics and insights, and reporting for various commercial initiatives (including pricing) within an enterprise business.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in either actuarial studies, Mathematics/Statistics, Data Science, Applied Finance, or a related field.
- Experienced in building relationships, advising, and engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including senior and executive leadership.
- Proven ability to provide business Analytics and insights for all levels of the business.
- Bring some work experience gained in workers compensation, general/health or life insurance, or financial services (ideal but not necessary)
- Proficient in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, and data analytics software such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
