CEA Technologies is one of Australia's leading Defence Industries specialising in the design, development, and manufacturing and through life support of radar, missile illumination and communications technologies.  We work in partnership with Defence and the Government to provide technical solutions in support of Defence Capability Requirements. CEA Technologies has facilities distributed across Australia and in the United States to support our Research and Development and Capability Sustainment.

Position - Junior Cost and Schedule Analyst

CEA Technologies seek interest for applicants who wish to commence a career in project scheduling who will provide robust Cost and Schedule analysis support to ensure successful integration of Programs inputs into CEA business operations, thereby enabling the successful delivery of existing commitments and future opportunities.

The Person

Our ideal candidate will have, or the ability to gain, relevant project scheduling experience and knowledge of project management principles, tools and procedures and have strong stakeholder management skills coupled with the ability to communicate and articulate information with senior stakeholders in a clear and effective manner. 
They will have strong computer skills across a variety of platforms including Microsoft Office Suite and an understanding of Scheduling tools.

Required

AGSVA clearance level: the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1.
In addition to the above-mentioned skills and experience, the successful candidate should have:
 

  • Experience with Open Plan Professional (OPP) or equivalent scheduling software experience e.g. Primavera P6.
  • Strong organisational and problem solving skills, approaching all tasks with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly with analysing and interpreting data.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise competing workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Solid computer skills across the MS Office suite, particularly with Excel.

Desirable

  • Experience in a Project Manufacturing environment
  • Scheduling of Defence Acquisition or other complex projects.

  • In order to be selected for this opportunity, you must have an Australian citizenship and the ability to gain a NV1.  
  • You will also be required to undertake a National Police Check 
  • Work placements are offered in Canberra.  Students are required to source own accommodation and transport.
