Junior Electrical Engineer

My client, a leading D&C Electrical contractor working with Tier 1 builders across the Melbourne market is looking to grow their Electrical Design team with the addition of a Junior Electrical Engineer.
Key Responsibilities

• Become thoroughly familiar with building codes, standards and legislative requirements
• Delivery of successful technical solutions to staff, managers, and clients ensuring robust and efficient technical solutions can be supported.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for project works using standard drafting procedures with CAD equipment & software.
• Liaise with engineers, project teams, authorities, and clients (where applicable) and assist team in maintaining client relationships while ensuring that attendance at weekly resource meetings, and regular feedback/project status updates are given to Engineering Manager.
• Assist in preparation of project reports
• Work to ensure projects meet agreed timelines/budgets and input into project reports is completed within timelines set.
• Provide updates to inform client of project status to ensure positive feedback.
• Assist with preparation of reports using templates for review before issue to client. 

This opportunity would suit an individual with a minimum of 2 years experience within another contractor or consultancy organisation working on commercial construction projects.

Applicants must have:

• 2 Years Australian Experience in commercial construction
• Working knowledge of Revit 3D
• Relevant Degree or equivalent qualification
• Enthusiasm and desire to learn and work as part of a high functioning team
