As a Junior Farm Hand in Meandarra, you will play a crucial role in various aspects of cattle handling, modern farming machinery operation, and general farm labor. This includes tasks such as fencing, yard maintenance, road and infrastructure building, and ongoing repair and maintenance activities. You will be responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance on farming plant and equipment, as well as general servicing of late-model farm machinery and vehicles within a well-appointed workshop.

What You'll Do:

This role is dynamic and fast-paced, offering invaluable experience and a collaborative team atmosphere. Your day-to-day will include:

• All aspects of livestock handling. Al stock mustering on bikes and buggies.
• Operation of modern farming machinery.
• General farm labor including fencing, yard, road and infrastructure building and machinery modifications.
• General servicing of late model farm machinery and vehicles in a well-appointed workshop.
• Other tasks as requested.

Your Skills & Experience:

We're looking for individuals who are not only skilled but also passionate about agriculture. To excel in this role, bring the following:

• Own transportation (car) and able to drive a manual car.
• Be an Australian citizen or a Permanent Resident.
• Possess skills in welding and fabrication.
• Experience in agricultural practices and operation of farm machinery is an advantage.
• Experience in cattle handling and truck driving are added advantages.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Possess a good work attitude and able to handle the isolation of rural life.
