Our client is one of Sydney's leading construction companies that is dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive work environment. As the Junior HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting HR and TA functions in the business.
You will be joining a high-performing HR team that provides ongoing training, support, and opportunities to grow within the business.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor & Talent Acquisition Manager, Responsibilities include;
- Recruitment: Assisting with job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and managing relationships with recruitment agencies.
- Employment Lifecycle: Drafting contracts, onboarding and offboarding employees, and handling administrative duties related to employee changes.
- Payroll: Providing accurate employment information to the payroll team and managing bonuses and incentives.
- Learning & Development: Coordinating training schedules, maintaining certifications, and organising external training sessions.
- Employee Engagement: Leading the Social Committee, organising staff events, and managing the reward and recognition programme.
- General Administration: Offering first-line HR support, maintaining employee records, drafting reports, and supporting HR projects.
THE CRITERIA
To be successful in this position you will need to be a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and 2-3 years of previous experience in a Human Resources or Recruitment role ideally in a construction industry. You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
This is a full-time, permanent position, and will require you to be in the office 5 days a week.
