Junior Lawyer - Litigation & Insolvency

Chamberlains Law Firm is currently seeking a Junior Lawyer to join our Litigation and Insolvency Team in Canberra.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Junior Lawyer to join our Canberra office. Ideally candidates will have at least 1 to 3 years' experience and will be looking to progress their career to the next level and are ready to hit the ground running.

You will have excellent mentoring from highly experienced team members who will assist you with your career development. We aim to provide a balance of supervision and autonomy to allow you to develop as quickly as possible.

Training in these areas will be provided. Initially, you will be:

• Drafting correspondence and legal documents
• Conducting research
• Liaising with potential new clients and existing clients
• Court appearance work
• Attending client appointments with your supervising solicitor
• Assisting with drafting marketing articles
• Filing and other administrative work
• Working closely with Senior Lawyers and Directors
