Position Overview: We seek a driven and energetic Junior Migration Lawyer or Law Graduate or Registered Migration Agent to join our team in Adelaide. This role presents an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to acquire and develop valuable experience in migration law as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
- Support senior lawyers managing diverse migration cases, encompassing visa applications, appeals, and administrative reviews.
- Conduct legal research and analysis of immigration laws and regulations.
- Draft legal documents, including visa applications, submissions, and correspondence with government authorities.
- Liaise with clients to furnish case updates and address inquiries.
- Participate in client meetings, hearings, and tribunal proceedings as necessary.
- Maintain currency with developments in immigration law and policy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in law.
- Admitted to practise law in Australia, or soon to be admitted to practise, or registered as a Migration Agent in Australia.
- Prior experience in migration law is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capacity to work autonomously and cooperatively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
