At Crown Tooling your focus will be on:
- Providing C.A.D Design especially in Solid Works and be interested in tool design, assembly and manufacture.
- Design engineering - updating of existing designs, reverse engineering where needed.
- Future growth to aid our production department with improved productivity.
- ERP management role.
- Solve design challenges and work efficiently
- Potential to learn our CAM software to help in our manufacturing department.
To be successful in this opportunity you will:
- Relevant Australian Engineering qualifications in Mechanical Engineering however a trade-based qualification with a substantial number of years as a trades person ‘on the tools’ before taking your steps into CAD or experience in Mechanical EngineeringDesign and assembly.
- Sound knowledge of CAD, (CAM knowledge would be an advantage)
- Strong Solid Works modelling and drafting skills.
- Experience in mechanical equipment and component Design and analysis. Industrial machinery experience will be advantageous
- Analytical, thorough, and detailed approach
- Good communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Your ability to quickly immerse and make a positive contribution to new teams will be essential
- Full rights to work in Australia
