Junior Mobile Application Developer

Informatech are a Canberra based ICT consultancy with over 200 staff, specialising in Testing, Infrastructure, Project Delivery and Security. On the back of an excellent financial year where we have grown into new markets and customers, we recently achieved number 22 on the Australian Financial Reviews Fast 100 List and the growth is continuing in the new year.

Our Federal Government Customer has requirements Mobile Application Developers. The software developer team (Solution Enablement) will be responsible to design and code software programs for integrated technical solutions for computers, mobile devices, and websites.

The roles can be considered either on a permanent or contract basis. 

Responsibilities 

Mobile Application Developers will be a part of agile scrum teams to design and code for mobile devices. 

A software developer will:  

• design and develop and maintain system changes and have experience with Xamarin  
• test, debug, update and improve software to ensure quality, security, and value. - provide technical advice to solve problems, 
• collaborate with others to identify and progress improvements in software delivery and support a culture of continuous improvement. 
• guide less experienced staff by reviewing their work and providing feedback to build team capability.

Key Skills/attributes

• Sitecore Experience Platform (XP): Content and experience delivery including user experience management 
• Sitecore Content Hub: Content lifecycle including planning, production, collaboration and management
• Coveo search: Site search and recommendation engine, natively integrated with Sitecore 
• Other components including Docker containerisation, JavaScript frameworks (Next J.S/React and .NetNode JS) etc. 
• Utilising Xamarin as the key technology. There are multiple development and test environments incorporating automated pipeline deployment.
