The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented individual to join our Gold Coast team as a Junior Broker. This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside an experienced Mortgage Broker and gain hands-on experience in the mortgage industry. As the successful applicant, you will receive comprehensive on the job training and mentoring that will enable you to build your career further on your skills and knowledge all the skills necessary to become a high performing broker.
Responsibilities:
- Mortgage Processor Duties:
- Assisting with loan application processing
- Gathering and verifying necessary financial documents
- Coordinating with lenders, underwriters, and other financial institutions
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and guidelines
- Providing administrative support to an experienced Mortgage Broker
- Participating in training and development programs to become a standalone Mortgage Broker
- Collaborating with team members to ensure a seamless client experience
- Autonomous approach to managing your day with an outcome focus.
Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking is not required, but is favoured
- Interest in the mortgage industry and a desire to pursue a career as a Mortgage Broker
- Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Minimum 1 year experience in banking or mortgage broking will be favoured; on the job training will be provided
