AddressThe Role: An exciting position has arisen for a confident Contracts Manager to oversee the management of cleaning and waste services at a large, dynamic site. You will be accountable for leading a team of direct staff, you will be looking after core cleans as well as periodical cleans. You will liaise directly with key stakeholders and have an excellent ability to problem-solve and think quickly to resolve any escalation of problems.
Your Responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of direct employees and casual staff of cleaners and maintain high levels of performance
- You will be responsible for Core Cleaning and Periodical cleaning teams
- You will be directly responsible for about 40 staff on a day to day basis but a pool of 400 staff onsite on occasion.
- Main hours will be Monday to Friday but also supporting major events when required on weekends and public holidays.
- You will with the contract manager and alongside an Operations Manager – Events
- Ensuring compliance and a high level of customer service and satisfaction is maintained at all times.
- Ensuring service agreement KPI’s are met and in line with contractual requirements
Your background:
You will have a customer-oriented and ‘can-do’ attitude, with experience in managing cleaners. As a people manager, you will lead from the front which on occasions, may mean being ‘hands-on.’ This is a varied role, which requires an organised approach and good problem-solving skills.
Additional skills include:
- The capacity to lead and supervise large teams of staff
- Great attention to detail
- Experience in leisure centres, entertainment areas or other similar settings is highly desirable
- The ability to adapt and perform in dynamic, high-pressure environments
